Research area: Analysis

The  aim of the research group is to consider the real-life problems arising on different fields of industrial applications. Mainly we concentrate to those problems which can be described by ordinary/partial differential equations or by the  system of such equations. We analyse the problem on different levels and from different aspects: the continuous model- semidiscrete models- dully discretized models-computer model. Our aim is not only to  define  the  numerical / computer solution but also to verify the preservation of the qualitative properties. Our results are applicable in different real-life problems like fuel cells modelling, advection-diffusion problems, heat conducton process, etc.
