Overall Purpose
The aim of the conference is to bring together mathematicians and physicists
interested in differential geometry and its applications in mathematical
physics to give lectures on new results, exchange ideas, problems and
conjectures.
Scientific Program
The lectures will run from Monday, 29 August till Friday, 2 September.
The scientific program will consist of (50 minute) plenary lectures and short
(20-25 minute) talks in two or three parallel sessions. Contributions can
also be presented in poster form.

Abstracts
Participants wishing to give a talk are requested to submit an abstract at the web site
http://www.math.elte.hu/geometry/DGP05/abstr_form.html by 15 July.
Please use a dialect of TeX, preferably LaTeX to encode mathematical expressions.
The abstracts already submitted can be viewed at the links given below.
Those having difficulties with the submission of the abstract via internet
may send it also to the e-mail address of the conference:
dgp05@math.elte.hu with subject "abstract".
Proceedings
We plan to have a Conference Proceedings. Details will be given later.
Registration
Those wishing to attend the conference should send the registration form to
the organizers until 15 July, preferably by filling in the
online registration form or by e-mail to the address
dgp05@math.elte.hu with subject

The participation fee of the conference is 160 EUR before 15 June,
180 EUR after 15 June if it is paid by bank transfer and the fee arrives
at least one week before the conference. Participants wishing to pay the
participation fee upon arrival are requested to pay 45000 Hungarian forints in
cash.
The participation fee covers the rental of conference facilities, conference
materials, coffee break refreshments and a banquet.
The fee for accompanying persons wishing to join us for the banquet is
7500 HUF which should be paid in cash upon arrival.

Meals
The prices of the hotels include breakfast. On the working days of the conference, from Monday to Friday, we offer the participants
a lunch for 1250 HUF/day at the Goldmann student's canteen (see location
2 on the map).
There is a great variety of restaurants in Budapest
to have dinner at. Participants staying at the Bolyai College can also
prepare breakfast and dinner in the kitchen of the dormitory (there is a
kitchen on each level).
